My new 10-minute play, PLEASE KEEP ME HONEST, will be performed every Monday night in March as part of MUSIC/SCENE, a show that pairs local playwrights with local singer-songwriters. The play, about 3 generations of women and why they moved to San Francisco, was inspired by Tommy P's song "Hemingway"; it features actors Elizabeth Ho, Tina Marzell, and Iris Stone and is directed by Bert van Aalsburg. Tickets $10.
CARMENTA, my new play about motherhood, rock music, and the turns a woman's life can take, will have a staged reading in the Olympians Festival. The evening will also feature plays by Neil Higgins, Bridgette Dutta Portman, and Elizabeth Flanagan, all directed by Megan Briggs. Tickets are $10 at the door or $12 online at Brown Paper Tickets.
I will be reading the Stage Directions and playing ukulele in a staged reading of TIAMAT by Stuart Bousel, directed by Genevieve Perdue. This Olympians Festival event is a double feature with Megan Cohen's solo performance THIRST TRAP (ABZU). Tickets are $10 at the door or can be bought in advance on Brown Paper Tickets.
